Early in 2002 Mr Stan Goldsworthy, who for 15 years had a long and distinguished service as President of the Club from 1960 to 1976, said he would like to donate a perpetual trophy to Riverside. What better way to acknowledge this amazing man than with a regatta in his name, “The Stan Goldsworthy Cup”.
